ATTRIBUTES OF A GOOD COMMITTEEMAN…..
1. A SELF STARTER: Don’t sit around and wait for your county
chairman to tell you what to do. Work your
precinct.
2. A PLANNER: Write a plan…..include your responsibilities
and activities. This should include Who,
What, When, Where and How.
3. A COMMUNICATOR: Don’t miss an opportunity to deliver the
Republican message to friends, family, volunteers, peers and neighbors.
4. A LISTENER: Listen to the concerns of your precinct.
Try to find a solution to their problems.
5. A RECRUITER: Recruit volunteers, candidates and people
who have special skills.
6. A MOTIVATOR: Encourage people to vote and take part in
the election process.
7. A MONITOR: Check on your volunteers and see that
they always follow through with their assignments. Thank them!
8. BE A PERSON “IN THE KNOW”
Who’s running?
What’s the message?
What are the issues?
What is the overall plan?
Where does everyone fit into the puzzle?
STAY ORGANIZED…..
